HTTP 403 Forbidden after Upgrade Win XP Professional

Dear Experts,
I had been using VS.net 2005 on Windows 2K with IIS. I have upgraded from Windows 2K to Windows XP Professional.

Now Old VS.net web applications are showing the following errors:
HTTP 403 Forbidden

Pls give advise how to fix this problem.
Regards,
Raju

1) Are you talking about on the development box?

2) 2005 runs Cassini by default on the development machine, so have you set it up to run on IIS?

Thanks.
1. I can't understand your5 question. Absolutely, It is independent development machine.
2. Yes, My IIS is running on my PC.
Now if I create new simple project, it is run without any error message. I thought that Old project is not OK. I guessed that new project might be Ok. So I have installed Job Starter Kit on my PC, but it is not working now. At previous, It worked properly.
1) I am trying to understand your environment.  I was wondering if this was a problem when you are developing the application, or after it has already been deployed.

2) You are saying that you have IIS installed on your PC, and you are getting 403 errors?

3) Did you upgrade Windows 2000 to Windows XP, or wipe the PC out, and start over fresh?

I have only
1. VS.net 2005
2. IIS 5.1
3. OS= Win XP professional

No Cassini is installed here.
Cassini is the WebDev.exe that is installed by default when you install 2005.

You didn't answer the Windows 2000 to Windows XP upgrade question.

2. Yes, IIS 5.1 is installed in my PC.
3. I have just upgraded my PC from Win 2K to Win XP professional. I started Windows XP installer in windows 2K explorer.

I think so, because I have scanned my PC by using RegCure. This scanner tools has reported lot of errors in registry item. I have to re-install the XP.
I wish you good luck!!
