Merge Table Data in Microsoft Access 2000

I am trying to find a simple way to merge data that resides in two diferent acess tables that reside in one master database.

Table 1 has first name, last name, address

I need to get this data into table 2 that has the fields fname, lname, addr

Is there a simple way to do this without any major scripting?

Very easy:

INSERT INTO table2 (fname, lname, addr)
SELECT firstname, lastname, address FROM table1

can you tell me where I can add this in? I am not very experienced in access. Thanks for the quick response!

in the query designer create a query that selects first name, last name, address from Table 1
then in the toolbar select append query as the the query type and choose Table 2 as the destination table
for each of the fields in the query select the destination field in the qbe grid

Go into the query designer, and change the view to SQL.  Paste my code in there, and
edit table/field names to match what's in your db.

If any table or field names have spaces or punctuation, you need to wrap them in brackets.
