RSA Server (SecureID).

I'm moving RSA Server from one server to another.
How can I change the data in the sdserv.db so that it matches the machine name and IP on the new server? Is there a utility i can use? I'm trying to backup/restore, but the most services wouldn't start on the new server due to mismatch in servernames in the config.rec. This prevents me configuring the replica..
in the Server Configuration Manager.

Anyone who can give me a solution, please?

    Accepted Solution

You need to create a replica package and deploy it to the new server.

Once you have completed the install on the new server - I suggest giving it a good 20 - 30 mins to replicate. You then shutdown the primary and promote your replica to a master.

I also recommend you implement a permanent replica for failover and backup purposes.

    Hope this helps.
