I have a 3Com 5500G 24-port switch and a Windows 2003 server running Certificate services, A/D and IAS (Radius). <br />
I need to authenticate XP Pro workstations running in the domain using certificates. I would also like to automatically assign the workstations to VLans. I would like no interaction required by the end-users. Does anyone have a &quot;step-by-step&quot; description of the correct way to do this? Thank you!!

It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).

A switch is a device that filters and forwards packets of data between LAN segments. Switches operate at the data link layer or the network layer of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Reference Model and therefore support any packet protocol. LANs that use switches to join segments are called switched LANs or, in the case of Ethernet networks, switched Ethernet LANs. A hub is a connection point for devices in a network. Hubs are commonly used to connect segments of a LAN. A hub contains multiple ports; when a packet arrives at one port, it is copied to the other ports so that all segments of the LAN can see all packets.
