On IE, go to Tools - Internet options.  In the Advanced tab, uncheck Show friendly HTTP messages to see what the error message might actualy be.

Are you publishing this website?  Did this registration page suggest you save the page(s) with a .asp extension?  Are you using a MS Access database?

-Corey
this is a published website and im not using any database...this is a .htm extension page
It sounds like either the FPSE are corrupted or at some point FTP was used.  Have you gone into the webhosting control panel, checked FPSE?  And then gone into FP, go to Tools - Recalculate the Hyperlinks and Published?

-Corey
I have unistalled/reinstalled FPSE and republished with the same results
It sounds like the page itself could be corrupt.  Did you try re-creating that page as well?
