Recognizing second Exchange 2003 Server in Exchange 5.5 Admin Tool

We have a problem with Exchange 5.5 Admin Tool is not seeing the second Exchange Server 2003 (Enterprise Edition).
Right now, there are
- Exchange 5.5 Server SP 4
- Exchange 2003 Server SP 2 Standard Ed.
- Exchange 2003 Server SP 2 Enterprise Ed.
Exchange 5.5 is a bridgehead server.
If you use Exchange 5.5 Admin Tool, it can see Exchange 5.5 and first Exchange 2003 (standard edition that was installed as a first Exchange 2003 server).
Second Exchange 2003 Server was installed as Install additional servers.
We can move mailboxes to new server 2003. But email will not be routed to that server because bridgehead server cannot see it.
We assume that changing the bridgehead server to 2003 will solve the problem with email.
But we would like to know if there is a way to make second Exchange 2003 server visible by Exchange 5.5 server so it can receive emails without changing the bridgehead server?

Did you replicate the server info over using ADC?

inforsystemsAuthor Commented:
We have a two way ADC connection between the MDC and the Exchange 5.5 server

Are other changes replicating over through ADC?

We are seeing replication between the first exchange 2003 (std) server and the exchange 5.5. The second 2003 Exchange server can see the exchange 5.5 but the exchange 5.5 cannot see the second 2003 exchange server. I hope this ansewrs what you where asking

if you create new user with a mailbox, does that information make it across? Or changes to a user like new email address added.

inforsystemsAuthor Commented:
Yes, if you create new user and mailbox, all that information is availible on both ends.

Anybody knows if SRS should be constantly running on all Exchange 2003 or first Exchange 2003 ?
Could this SRS be the problem of communication between Exchange 2003 and 5.5 ?

Also on Exchange 2003 Enterprise Eddition, protocol X.400 is in Retry mode with Exchange 5.5 server. Does anybody know how to make it active ???

Stacy SpearPresident/Principal ConsultantCommented:
SRS should be on one server, not all. The one where the ADC is. Its been some time since I've dealt with this type of thing.

Surprised no one else chimed in on this one! Before we finally killed 5.5 off, we had to switch our bridgehead role to 2003, but memory is not clear anymore why we had to do it.

Is it fixed?

inforsystemsAuthor Commented:
Yes, once we got the SRS service running on the first exchange 2003 server, all the servers were viewable from exchange 5.5 admin tool and mail was working.
