Server Monitoring

I am after some guidance on typical things to monitor in a corporate evironment consisting of Domain Controllers, DHCP, DNS, Proxy Servers, Domino Servers, File & Print Servers, Web Servers, SQL Servers, etc...  I appreciate that this is a very broad question but if there are any whitepapers you could provide or just guidance that would be great...  Thanks in advance..

Just off the top of my head:
 * Server up & down status
 * Services
    > WINS
    > DNS
    > Netlogon

And that's just the basics for ANY domain controller.

CPU Utilization. Check for prolonged periods where utilitzation is 80% or higher, which might indicate a bottleneck
