Form Building

I am creating a custom survey builder for use on a multiuser system and all written in php.
Almost figured everything out except how to handle form processing when there will be many different variations of form elements in a form per user.

I am simply asking for ideas to approach this properly.
Any questions, please feel free to ask.

Think of all the general types of questions and answers you will accept. These will fall into certain data types (checkboxes, textboxes, radioboxes, etc)
When you encode each survery, give each question an id number that corresponds to a particular data type. Then search through $POST for those ids and you will know how to parse the answers.

Is this answer useful to you?

If not, see how some other people did it: http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpesp/

Thanks for your reply. I think that is a good way too. I was thinking along the same lines already. That is helpful.
I want to leave this question open for a little longer in case of more feedback.
