We are using Outlook 2003 and I have my address book and contacts lists set to sort by last name which is working properly, but when you go into a distribution list, it lists the contacts by first name.  Is there anyone to sort the members of a distribution list in Outlook by the last name?

it is not possible to sort a distribution list like that.  the only option you have would be to change names to be globally seen as "LastName, FirstName"  but users names will show in that form everywhere.
