Help needed with spoof bounce-backs

My customer has a Folder in Exchange which has been given email addresses like info@mydomain.com and enquiries@mydomain.com Just this afternoon, hundreds of bounce-backs have been landing in this folder. They are in response to emails that have apparently been sent out from non-existent users on this domain.

I don't understand why the bounce-backs are landing in the Info folder. In Exchange - Global Settings - Message Delivery - Recipient filtering I have ticked the box to filter recipients who are not in the Directory, and Recipient Filtering is turned on in the Default SMTP connector. So how do I fix this?

I just checked. We're not on any of those blacklists. But right now I wouldn't care if we were.

I need my exchange server to reject emails to squiggle@mydomain.com and qwerty@mydomain.com I don't understand why they are landing in the Info folder.
Are the squiggle and qwerty accounts delegates of the info account?
No they don't exist. The bounce-backs are in response to mails apparently sent out by hundreds of non-existent users on our domain. I need to know why they are landing in the Info folder and how to stop them.

I've sussed it. The emails for this domain are forwarded from another host. This host was set to forward mail addressed to unknown users to the Info address. I've awarded you the points anyway for responding so promtly.

Glad you sorted it anyway,
Cheers
