How to connect MAC computers to the Windows Network

Windows SBS 2003 server and 2003 File server. How can we connect a few MAC computers to the file server to access files and to print to some of the network printers?
2 Solutions
I believe to access the file and print services one needs to install File and Print services for Mac.

Fom control panel - add/remove programs, windows components- Other Network File and Print services.
To access the file shares:

Finder > Go > Connect to Server...

address: smb://server.address.com/shareName [or] smb://ip.of.ser.ver/shareName

Click connect > authenticate with the appropriate credentials

To access shared printers:

Apple Menu > System Preferences > Print & Fax > '+' button > Select IP Printer

Protocol: LPD (default)
Address: server.address.com [or] ip.of.ser.ver
Queue: <print queue share name>

Select the driver model from the Print Using list and click Add.
