My message Tracking Center tool in exchange 2003 sp1 is not working, how can I fix it?

On a system running Windows 2003 EE R2 SP21 running Exchange 2003 sp1, When I go to the Exchange System Manager and go to -Tools -Message Tracking Center and I try to search for a sender etc...  The following message populates:
The tracking database file \\mailxxxxxx.domain.int\XXXX.log is corrupted near byte offset 1684184.
How can I repair this issue?

Any reason why you are not on Exchange 2003 SP2?
The log file indicated is corrupt. You need to remove that log file.
However I would suggest that you also update your server.

My apologies... I am running Windows Server 2003 R2, (Enterprise Edition) Service Pack 1 with Exchange 2003 Verision 6.5 (Build 7638.2: Service Pack 2).  Do you see any issues with me upgrading my Server OS to SP2?  Also...  when I do click on the log file... a 'huge' amount of other log files show up as being corrupt also...

If you are seeing high numbers of corrupt message tracking logs then you need to start looking at the cause. I have never seen message tracking logs get corrupted on their own, they are just plain text.
You need to look for things like AV software scanning that directory in real time, which could be corrupting the writing process. if the message tracking logs are on another drive you might have the first signs of a problem with the disk.

As for Windows 2003 Sp2, I have all of my servers, and my clients servers on SP2 and have been for some time.
