Dear all,
Recently, I've got an error message when I try to connect to computer X in
the Computer Management too; "computer \\X cannot be managed. The network path was not found."
the computer is running fine, domain users can log on, I can ping
it, and I can connect to its screen via remote desktop.
Before it was running fine, I mean I can managed all computer in computer management tool, but after I replaced a core cisco switch 6509, it had problem like that.
I really appreciate for all your comments.
Please help

Do you have any FW module running on your 6509? Any ACL implemented on your 6509?

Also, you may check the windows firewall on the PC itself.

Dear all,
Now, I found the problem.
U know, there is an option in DNS server, called "registered this connection's addresses in DNS"
This option is in TCP/IP properties and DNS tap then u see a check box there. By default, Windows 2003 or 2000 workstation and servers will attempt to dynamically register their DNS name with the DNS server and domain controller. When this option is unchecked, either workstation or server couldn't find their DNS connection, so that's why, it prompts "computer \\X cannot be managed. The network path was not found." when we attempt to connect computer through computer management.

Any way, thank you very much for your time and comments.
And please close this question as I am able to find the resolution myself. :-)
