Bring to front MS Access window

Hi experts,

Is it possible to bring an MS Access window to the front?  I have multiple windows open in my Access application and when I open a report the report goes opens behind the other open windows.

Thank you.

Normally, reports will open on top of other windows. If you have created modal or pop-up forms, they will remain on top and mask the report, naturally (that's the entire idea of pop-up forms).

Perhaps you have created an "all modal" or "all pop-up" interface. That works relatively well for a few forms, but not for a full-blown application. If that is the case, consider reverting to normal forms.

If all else fails, you can start your reports in dialog mode. You will loose some functionalities, though.

    DoCmd.OpenReport "rptAny", acViewPreview, WindowMode:=acDialog

Cheers!

try the following and use whatever report name

DoCmd.OpenReport "myreport", acViewPreview
DoCmd.Maximize
DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdZoom75

Thank you for your posts - sorry for the delay in responding. acDialog sorted the problem out for me.

I consider this a workaround rather than a solution, but that might not be true in your setup. Anyway, I'm glad you have a solution. Success with your project!
