Render SQL Report as PDF

I have developed a SQL Report and would like to have it render as a PDF rather than using the SQL Reporting control.  From my reading this is built into SQL Reporting but none of the stuff I have read says how to actually do it.  I am calling the report from ASP.NET and will be passing some dynamic parameters to the report (once I figure that out).  How do I get it to render as a PDF?

There are PDF API for that, which is the proper way to export to PDF.

But a easier way is to create to create a Crystal report and export that report to PDF. You can do that using .net code itself, so the user will not even realise that you used crystal reports.

Crystal is not an option and I would never use it anyway.  The initial preference was Active Reports but the client prefers that we use SQL Reporting.

I knew there was an interface to create the PDF, but I don't know any specifics of what the API is or how to do it.

It is like printing to a printer..... but the output would be a PDF file.

I never use Crystal because of the licensing costs, they are rather prohibitive for most of my customers.

Printing to a printer is not an option, this needs to render to the client as a PDF.  This functionality is available internal to SQL Reporting, I just don't know how to access and control it.

The only problem is that everything comes out collapsed.  I did decide to show the user the SQL report viewer and managed to convince them that it is the better way to go so now I don't even need the PDF output.
