log processes cpu usuage over time

I got some users complaining their computers are running dog slow. I know there is a program on their computer doing it. How can I log processes and their cpu usuage over time. Dont want to use a third party program unless its free or cheap. I know windows has biult in audits. Want to do it centrally from a server on the client. And I just want the audit to log to a text file
