smtp forward to IMail

I have emails going out from my applications to my account via SMTP.
As I have learned, other servers see it as SPAM and hence its not a good idea to do it that way.

I do not have the time or manpower to go in and modify each application to use the SMTP box we have for our IMail server.

The short term solution I intend to deploy is to have my IIS SMTP server forward all emails it is trying to send via our SMTP.MYDOMAIN.COM server.

Here is what I have
smtp info for server which is not black listed
username and password to that server

what I need
a way to configure my IIS SMTP server to send all emaisl using that whiltelisted mail server with the credentials I provide

How do I achive this

    Accepted Solution

In IIS, go to the SMTP, then outbound, advanced and put in a smarthost. The smarthost must be surrounded by brackets like [] or []

The machine you are sending to must have relaying turned on. In its SMTP server, 2nd tab over, under relay, select relay for these machines only and put in the ips of the machines that you are relaying for.
