We have a SBS 2003 r2 premium server with the isa 2004 installed.  We want to tried to post a different website for the default website.  We change the initial page file to default.htm which is what the old one was.  When we view it internally by typing the internal ip it shows correctly but when we try to view it externally it reformats the page a different way from the way we designed it and some pictures do not show.  If anyone has any ideo if you can please let me know.

dont mess with the default website on an sbs system unless you really know what you're doing.  you are very likely to muck very important things up, such as ms exchange.

you should simply give the server a second ip address and create a new website and put your application in that new web directory.

And...  Whenever you do anything with IIS configuration make sure you back up the config.  So before you create your new website...get a backup within the IIS administrator (export XML config).  That way if you accidentally change or apply a setting the mucks things up you have an out.  Especially where OWA and Exchange is involved...because it requires a very specific permission set.

I figured out what it was i had to publish the default website through ISA once i did that it showed correctly
