xslt: generatign xslt to transform one schema to another

I have two file schemas, say schema A and B, and I intend to generate XSLT logics for transforming from A to B as well as B to A.
Is there any software tool or wizard that can generate the "base" XSLT by just taking files with schema A and schema B as inputs?

You need a tool that allows you to also feed in a mapping description
something such as A element foo should become B attribute @bar

Stylus Studio has a graphical mapper that does exactly that
(it generates XSLT in the background)

check this out

I have seen quite a lot of attempts to build something similar over the past few years
but I have never met a tool that really impressed me
tools like this are not for serious development, but they can assist for the first skeleton of your XSLT

If you haven't come accross Stylus Studio before
it definitely deserves a place in your toolbox if you are into XML and XSLT

hope this helps

I see, thank you, Geert, but it's costy and I only need to do this task once.

you can always download a free trial version

and get the job done before it expires
