Hi there -- I have the EXACT same problem .. and have done what barnesco states here myself (i..e set up database mail .. ) .. but STILL problem persists. &nbsp;I note the &quot;accepted solution&quot; is to set up database mail .. but that's not it .. not just it in other words. &nbsp;What else can we try? &nbsp;Barnesco -- did you finally solve this ?<br />

In SQL 2005, I've created an operator on the server, but when I drag a "Notify Operator Task" tool onto design view and attempt to configure it, I receive an error message saying:

"There are no operators with email addresses defined on this server"

Clearly there are. I've also tried creating a new connection to the server.  What could be causing this?
