SECURITY LOG IS FULL

error when logging on is security log is full

Hi!

Go to Administrative Tools, Computer Managment, Event viewer, right click Security log and select Clear events... Save log.
Now right click Security log again, select Properties and increae maximum log size.
Check and clear (save) your logs regulary.

you have to login with admin account, and clear the security log (in computer management).

Firstly you need to have administrator permissions onthat machine in order to change the security log settings.

Following the steps from toniur, I would rather enable "Overwrite events as needed".
You won't ever get this messag again.
