Have any idea how to add a SATA driver to RIS ? We have a X61 model but couldnt pass through the HDD identification :

I have put the related driver files under
1. D:\RemotInstall\Setup\English\Images\BSI_XP\%oem$\$1\Drivers\T61 w/ related .sif updated.
2. D:\RemoteInstall\Setup\English\Images\BSI_XP\$oem$\TEXTMODE
But still couldn't success. Any idea ??

Copy the drivers to the i386 folder too.

You might also need to add a Mass Storage section to the .sif file as well, but try the first suggestion before we go there.

This might depend on how the SATA drive has been added to the machine.
    1. If the SATA drivers are supported by the BIOS/MOBO (built-in/on-board  SATA controller) then having the drivers with the installation files should work or so I've heard.
    2. If you are using an add-on controller board then the drivers need to be on a floppy (and I do mean floppy) ... I have done this myself and read a lot about this one and no other media seems to work for accessing the drivers during the installation phase ... you have to do the F key to select other drivers and the drivers have to be on a floopy disk.

It seems that TXTSETUP.SIF may be the way to go for. Any reference for customize the TXTSETUP.SIF file and include the SATA driver ?
