Sent date wrong in blackberry recieved emails.

The date inside emails is wrong. When I look at the list of emails they are correctly displayed according to date. when I open an email the date sent is wrong. for instance on august 7 2007 (08-07-2007) the blackberry displayed the date sent as July 8 2007 (07-08-2007), on 08-08-2007 the date displayed properly. Today August 9 2007 the date sent is being displayed as Sept 8 2007 (09-08-2007) it is as if the numbered date is being interprated as Euro dd/mm/yyyy and then being converted to the wrong long date.
The blackberry 8703e  is running platform 2.2.0.149 and set to Eastern time zone GMT -5.  It is configured to pull email from an exchange server 5.5 OWA page.
the OWA server is also in the Eastern time zone GMT -5 (windows server 2000 sp 4 )
The Exchange server is in the Eastern time zone GMT -5 ( windows server 2000 sp 4, Exchange server 5.5 sp 4)
The Outlook client isn in the Eastern Time zone GMT -5 (windows xp sp2 running ms office 2002.

I have change the way all OS's to handle the short date from m/d/yyyy to mm/dd/yyyy  NO CHANGE.
I have spoken to Verzion level 1, 2 and 3 tech support as well as RIM tech support.
We have wiped the blackberry clean and set up again NO Change.
There has to be some setting somewhere that I have missed. but I am out of idea's.

Also there are two of these devices that recieve email in this manner and both have the same date format issue.
