Date Format in Access 2003

I am working in Access 2003 and need to change the date format to DAY/MONTH/YEAR.

I cannot figure out how to do this.  Can you help?

    your regional setting is Pacific?

    go into the table design view,
    select the date field,
    within format from the drop down box select option.
