Image cut of in ie due to negative margin

In my ebay listings, an image in the right column of my ads gets cut off in interner explorer, but not in firefox.

I had to use a negative margin to center it in the column, but internet explorer does not display it properly.  Is there a way to force the image to overlow whatever is cutting it off in ie.

Here is an example http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130142059911

The image has the heading "Why shop @ diagio"

It could be a z-index issue, but instead of a negative margin, why not try:
  position:relative;
  left:-npx;

Where n is the number of pixels you currently have in the negative margin?

I found a solution.  IE needs a position:relative tag inorder to compensate
