WinXP Pro only 5 Connections

Hi All - My Windows XP Pro (SP2) will only allow 5 connection. Is there a way to get the the full 10 connections?

    Was this an upgrade from XP Home by any chance?

    XP Home has a limit of 5, which is why I ask....

    Dont see any other reason why you arent getting the full 10 though....

    perhaps a corrupt tcpip.sys? or wrong version of it?

    Hi John - Thanks for the reply - This system was not an upgrade, I bought it with XP Pro - How could I check the TCPIP.sys?

    System File Checker....

    start>run>sfc /purgecache

    You will need the CD for it....

    Also, check the Version of the file....
