Frames and asp
I have an asp website I am creating in Dreacweaver CS3.
The client has requested that I create two pages in the site which are scrolling pages and I assume will need to use frames.
So far I am using my local PC with local files to develop and remote files using localhost.
It seems that the frame files will not run on localhost and although the frames pages show correctly in the browser if I try to use the page links the page will not run.
On previewing I get a message:
Framesets cannot be previewed when the testing server is remote. Would you like to preview the frameset locally?
If I answer yes the page opens from the local site but the links do not work
Question: Is it possible to use frame pages on an asp based site? If not what is the approach?
Thanks John
