VPN --> hostname pass through (DNS)

Hello experts

I have a Site-Site VPN set up.
I can ping IP addresses of the two subnets on either side of the VPN.
All services are working well

One side, I have a DNS server.
The other side is a workstation
I am wanting to ping the hostname of the server from the workstation, without the use of host files.

How can this be done

the two devices I use for VPN, are sonicwalls

Use the DNS server's IP as the primary DNS for the workstation.

Go to Administrative Tools > DHCP.
In your Server or Scope Options, add 006 DNS Servers.
Enter the IP of your DNS there.
