Ok, I back up my Treo 650 on my computer--no problem.
Now I want to schedulre automatic backup all my Treo data (contacts, addresses, etc) on my Palm Desktop onto my external HD.
Of course, I have back up software but which files do I need to back up?
Thanks.

I would backup the entire Palm Profile directory.  It should not be that big.

I hope this helps !

It deepnds where you installed it, and what version of desktop

I would start by looking under the Palm Directory under Program files, and also check via the palm desktop, where your profile is stored.
What version do you have ?

I hope this helps !

I have version 4.1.4 for Treo 650
As you know there are many files in this desktop palm one directory.
Again, which as my data---which do I back up?
Of course I could back up the whole pamone directory but this is overkill as its just the data that I want backed up and not everything else
As I recall there is a folder that contain this data but where is it?

You should have a directory which is the same as the Treo Profile name. that is all that needs to be backed up.

You may need to search for it via windows.
