vista 0x800704c8 when copying files......what do i need to do to get rid of this pita..i have tried disabling every security feature

    From Googling, it looks like this either a Vista bug or anti-virus related.  Do you have OneCare installed?

    yup..went to all of those and nothing worked

    It address several issues with copying and moving.

    Tri this:
    1.  Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, click Run, type msconfig
    2. Go To Tools Tab selec Disable UAC than click Run

    nope..disable uac is not an option
