Hi,

How can i set Bios passwords on all machines in my network and even supervisor passwords.

Can this be done remotely.

The BIOS is linked directly to the system hardware itself, and its only accessible on initial booting of the device, so there really isn't any way to 'push' a BIOS password out over the network.

However, you may wish to call your hardware vendor; they may have a solution for you, but I would have to assume the only way for it to work would be to have all identical machines with the same BIOS revision.

Unfortunately the answer is: No this can not be done remotely. Also the hardware vendor wont have a released solution about this yet.

Yes You can set a password on a BIOS Remotely but I will not recommend it because you will still have to go on-site if problems.  This can be done by write a script to do so.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ONCE A BIOS PASSWORD IS IN PLACE YOU HAVE LOCK YOURSELF OUT REMOTELY. THE COMPUTER WILL NEED THE PASSWORD TO BOOT.

BUT i will give you this link.

The only thing you have to Download is the Dell Client management Or Dell Open management software. This should have been shipped with your Server but any way here is a link to DL it.
