We will need some context: E.g. what software, tools, platform, etc.?

mssqlserver 2000, win2003. This user db got deleted because it appeared twice but now it gives this error. I created a new one but still it does not get recognized what I don't understand. I need to fix from the point where I deleted this db. Right now there are 2 of this same db name in the db list which none can be accessed because of this error. I am in enterprise manager.

Enterprise manager doesn't always keep its displays up to date correctly.  Exit the program and then start it again to get a more accurate picture of how things are now.
