I need to install Ms Office 2007.

When I insert my Ms Office 2007 CD for installing,
it says:

> Setup cannot find the required setup controller file. Either there was a network error,
> an error reading from the CD, DVD, or other installation media, or a problem with the
> package you downloaded"

What can be the problem?

    Hi dportabella

Are you sure this is a legitimate copy of Office 2007?  Most other people I've seen with this error are using either:

    a. An illegitimate version of Office 2007 or
    b. Downloaded version that has become corrupted

Did you buy this retail or is it OEM, Corporate?  If so you should be able to contact Microsoft Support and request a new CD or take it back to the Retailer who sold it to you.

    Hope that helps.
