Problems iinitialise mouse

USB Mouse will not initialise. Comes up with detected new hardware as DELL USB MOUSE, but will not install the generic drivers for it. Have tried 3 other mice in all the USB ports but still comes up with the same massage: Can not install hardware
Have updated the Chipset.
PC has been freshly built.

    Try booting into safemode and reinstalling the mouse drivers from there. Also in the device manager, you can uninstall the Universal Serial Bus Controller and then Click Action "scan for hardware changes".

    Give that a shot.
