Hi,

Nortel doesnt support VTP at all. VTP is available only on Cisco. My suggestion is to configure trunk interconnection between the switches.

Can you guide me through the procedure to create a trunk on the nortel switches?

You have a section about trunking. I have only worked with nortel L2/3 and L3/7 switches for IBM Blade Center. I do not know how it is being done on these via CLI.

Thans for the document. But tell me, when i go to create a multi-trunk port, it asks me to specify 2 ports that needs to be added to the trunk. One port will be the Port on the Nortrel Switch anf then how do I specify the second port which is on th Cisco Switch that needs to be trunked??
configure terminal
interface %type %number
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allowed vlan all
switchport nonegotiate
exit

where %type is gigabit, fastethernet etc...
where %number is 0/10 , 1/10 , 2/20 :)
