Firewall fails ping test from shields up (www.grc.com)

I have two PCs

one XP SP2 desktop running NIS 2005
one laptop running vista and norton 360.

Since installing a belkin router (wirelss g modem/router) to replace the thompson speedtouch I fail the shields up ping test from gibson research corp. - https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2. (NB router firewall is on).

Should I be worried?

Thanks

Lou

Hi

In a word, No. The test will be scanning the IP of your router, not your native IP.

If you're in the mood, you could plug direct into a modem and check, but this is pretty pointless to be honest...

Hope this reassures,

Dave
