How to allow user to login to Member Server?

I have 2 MS 2003 Servers. One is the Domain Controller and the other is a 'Member Server' which is joined to the domain of the domain controller.

I have a user that I need to allow local login rights on the 'Member server'

What settings do I need to set to allow him to login locally, he is already in the administrators group

The user doesn't need any additional rights.
Administrators are allowed to logon locally.

If he is in the local admin group that should be enough.   However, go to start -> administrator tools -> local security policy

the goto security settings -> local policies -> user rights assignment and on the right side go down a half dozen or so and add the person to the allow logon locally policy.

what does he need to do
add the user to the remote desktop users on the machine. you cn add him to local power users group or local administrators group through group policy.
