blackberry activation

i have a user I tried to activate it went about three minutes and failed. what shoudl I do

Assuming this was a new device, did you charge the battery before trying the activation? If so, you may need to contact your vendor for support.

it says no pin in status on teh blackberry server
Go to Options | Advanced Options | Security on the device and try regenerating a new encryption key. This should work if the account is still on the BES. It this doesn't work, you may have to delete the BES account on the BES and recreate it and then try activating the device again.

First since the device failed
you will need to wipe the device
Also if you can .. Have the persons e-mail account open infront you and look to see if the persons e-mail is processing the encryption key correctly

All else fails.. call your carrier to help trouble shoot. If they cannot help you they will send you to RIM
