Job doesn't want to set to date in Backup Exec 11d!
This is beyond frustrating; I have my full backup job set to run every friday, but the thing will never start! It always skips to the next friday, and the only way I can get the job done is to manually run it (which isn't the most efficient, and shouldn't even be needed!) I've tried changing the date, changing the start times, and nothing ,it keeps skipping the current day. This is beyond frustrated. I'm running 11d build 7170.
Any ideas?

Do you know if this hotfix will apply for the 6235 revison as well? I have the same problem but the hotfix says it is meant for the 7170 revision and I can't find a fix specifiying my revision.
This particular hotfix won't work on build 6235.
But SP1 for build 6235 does mention the following fix:
Modifying a scheduled job twice causes the scheduler to skip the next scheduled backup
So try downloading SP1 at http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/288798.htm and apply it.

Well the hotfix didn't fix it, but the workaround did.. go figure!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Yeah same here. I have SP1 installed but the hotfix that is rolled up in it didn't work. It's kind of an annoying workaround as you have to build the schedule for the job after you change it from "Run Now" to "Run According to Schedule".
