Our Groupwise system randomly displays blank or corrupt (half a page) in email.  The users have html view checked but still get errors.  Has anyone had this problem?

    Hmm is it all users?

Have you tried creating a new view and setting it as default?

Is it random HTML emails or is there something common about the emails that fail to load properly.. If you get stuck you can reset the client preferences from consoleone, under groupwise client options for affected users..

Look forward to hearing about more info.. ta

    Assisted Solution

We had a similar issue that turned out to be related to a corrupt attachment in an email sent to a number of users in the organisation. The page either failed to load or on one occasion it crashed out the web agent. My next question would be the same as wct296's: Any similarity in the messages this is happening with?

It is happening randomly to various users.  Sometimes the HTML shows up fine and then suddenly, they will get a partial HTML image or none at all.  It's very odd.

    I would

    1. Uninstall and re-install the latest grpwise client (I think its 6.5 sp5?? - I'm on 7 so I cant remember)
    2. Clear the client options in consoleone for that user
    3. Check Internet Explorer settings, I'm pretty sure grpwise 6.5 uses parts of IE to render html
    4. Upgrade to grpwise 7 ;)

I agree...after much research online I have found the same options:
1- Ensure HTML settings are set correctly on the Server and Client side
2- Ensure you have the latest support packs
    3- Re-install the client
    4- Upgrade to 7

Thank you very much for your help!!!!
