Just search your machine for all .vnc and .vmc files and see if the virtual machine or virtual network exists.
Good luck,
Walter

it is just the virtual network that is causing problems.

I have done a search of all drives and exausted everything else.

Here is an MS guide of all locations and file types of a VS 2005 configuration.

perhaps some useful information for you there.
Good luck,

Did you use VMRC plus?
When you initial added or created the same machine name in there you should remove it from the VMRC plus console first.
Good luck,
Walter

Guys, no matter what i did to try and find and remove them it did not work.

The only way i got round this was adding the virtual networks under a different name, these then created in the respective area.

Go to the following path and rename or delete the .lnk file with the same name as the server you are trying to create:

C:\documents and settings\all users\application data\microsoft\virtual server\Virtual Machines\<server name in conflict.lnk>
