I can't find my label in form designer

I just added a label to my form. I added some more form elements and code, and now I can't see my label anymore. I click around on the form where it is supposed to be, but it's not there. How do I see my label again and why would it disappear when I'm in design mode? All other form elements are appearing.

There are several possibilities:
1. It's not there any more,
2. Somthing else is on top of it,
3. It's not visible.

1. Is it still in the Form1.Designer.cs file (.Net 2.0) of Form1.cs file (1.1 and earlier)? If so, check the visible property, otherwise it was probably inadvertently deleted.
2. If there is anything (like a panel or other container) on the form, shrink it or drag it away from that area. Did you find it underneath?
3. Click the mouse cursor in one corner of the form, and drag to the diagonally opposite corner to select all controls within the rectangle. The de-select one by one all the others.

If it's still in the code, and you cannot find it, set the Text property to some long string, compile and run it. Maybe that will show you where it is.
