HP 1100A on Wireless Network using Windows Vista

We have a new laptop with Vista that will not connect with our HP 1100A printer on our wireless network. We have had NO problems connecting other computers and laptops with Windows XP, 2000, ME, and 98/95. No matter what I try on Vista, it will not find the printer although it connects to the router just fine for Internet browsing.

Can you try connecting this printer directly to your laptop? I see HP have indicated that the basic functions of this printer should work with Vista:

Is the printer currently connected to another PC or is it connected directly to your network?

It is on another computer on our wireless network. The printer is shared and prints fine from two other computers (WinXP Pro and Win98).

So.. the vista PC can see the PC that the printer is connected to but not the printer itself?

I can't check at the moment, but not sure if it sees the computer. It sees the wireless network (router, cable modem).
