Estimate Speed to Move Exchange Databases
Hello
Can someone give me an idea about how long it will take to move one of my exchange 2003 database to another volume ?
My edb file is 30 GB and stm about 20 GB.
I have san connectivity to a netapp well performed system.
Thanks
Robin

I doubt it is going to be that slow, but it will depend on so many factors that the best thing to do is calculate it yourself.
Copy a 50mb (or 500mb) file from the original location to the destination, time it and then multiply.
It is far from the most scientific way, but it is practical, and relatively accurate.
