I have changed the datasource so the connection string uses a parameter, Database.Value. This allows me to specify which database to connect to when I run the report :

="data source=myserver;initial catalog=" & Parameters!Database.Value

I have a problem with this however. When I run the report for the first time it works correctly and connects to the database name provided in the parameter. If I try and run the same report against a different database and re view the report the message "the report is being generating" just appears indefinately.

The same happens if I have two internet explorer windows open and attempt to connect to one database in one window and a different database in the other. The report that I click on first runs correctly and the one I click on second runs indefinately.

What the heck is going on?
