To find out the model of the motherboard you will have to open the case. When you have opened up the case, look on the motherboard for a white sticker. Thanks for the speedy feedback. I will open the box and see what it says. tstaddon thanks for the link. You are right to say I bought it at PC World. They told me that the motherboard has failed and repair costs through them would cost &gt;Â£350 as other components would also need to be replaced. Their advise being to go and buy another PC! Hence my question - very many thanks
