I am an administrator in the(WXP) local machine(virtual machine), but when I log on to this machine through RDP, I can't change the settings of desktop properties.
if I use VMWare server console to connect to it I can change the settings.
any idea?

Thanks

let me make it clear:

on my windows Vista I have VMware server console, I created a virtual WXP.
I can connect to WXP either through VMware server console or through RDP session, but I have first to connect through VMware server console and minimize it then connect through RDP, which is kind of annoying.
but what I was wondering about why I can change the proeprties of the desktop when connected through VMware server console but not when connected  through RDP session.
