Using a command or batch file to delete SOME user profiles in C:\documents and settings

Last Modified: 2010-04-16
How can I use a command or a batch file to delete all user profiles in C:\documents and settings EXCEPT "Default user" and "Michael" (my currently logged in profile)

I have several computers with loads of different profiles, but  "Default user" and "Michael" are standard on all of them.

@echo off
dir /s/b/ad "C:\Documents and Settings" > all.txt
find /v /i "C:\Documents and Settings\Default User" < all.txt > others.txt
find /v /i "C:\Documents and Settings\Michael" < others.txt > clear.txt
for /f "tokens=*" %%U in (clear.txt) do (
echo rmdir /q "%%U" )
Use the delprof.exe utility from microsoft.

Download it from the above link + install it + read the help document, you could easily delete the profiles like based on inactivity et all.

Here's a link to some very useful scripts.  You can set up the deletion using the case function (see "Take Action Based on User Name") to exclude the default user and Michael.
