I picked up a strange situation. Strange to me anyway.
My environment is VB 2005 and SQL 2005.
One of my bound textfields were defined in the database as nvarchar(10).
The worked perfectly initally until the 10 characters became too little and I needed to increase the lenght.
The app started returning the error:
The value violates the Maxlenght limit of this column.
The interesting part is when I changed the data type and lenght to nvarchar(50), VB ignores this change and retains the original Maxlength of 10 in the Dataset auto generated code.
I have tried to refresh, clean, rebuild, etc. but no luck.
I have also deleted the bound textbox from the form and inserted and bound it again. Still no luck.
Any ideas of what I should do in such a case?
