Hi...There is one SQL 2000 uses as an OLAP server with Analysis Service. It has 4 CPUs, but I realized that the SQLServer.exe process only uses one CPU and maximize it to 100%, while the rest of 3 CPUs are almost idle.

I also noticed that the MSMDSRV.exe sometimes uses up all the 4 CPU resource.

Is there any way to have SQLServer.exe takes advantage of all the CPUs rather than just one and what could the reason for MSMDSRV.exe eating up all the CPU resource?

Thanks,
fshguo.
